We'll bring your loved one into our care promptly, attend to all medical paperwork and handle registration with the Registry of Births, Deaths and Marriages on your behalf.

You'll sit down with one of our experienced funeral directors at our Crescent Street funeral home to talk through your family's traditions and wishes. From there, we can liaise with clergy, celebrants or community elders to make sure every aspect of the service is handled with respect.

Services can take place at our funeral home, a local place of worship such as Saint Mary's Catholic Church, Gatton Uniting Church, or at another location that holds meaning – whether that's a family home, a park or a graveside. The chapel at Laidley Crematorium is also available.

If spending private time with your loved one before the service is important to you, we can arrange a viewing in a peaceful, respectful setting.

We can help organise memorial stationery, live-streaming for those unable to attend and recordings to keep as a lasting tribute.
A funeral generally takes place within days of someone passing and often includes a burial or cremation as part of the service. A memorial is held separately – sometimes weeks or even months later – after the burial or cremation has already taken place.
There are some legal and medical requirements that need to be taken care of early on, but the timing of the service itself is flexible. Certain religious or cultural customs may also guide the timeline. We'll walk you through what needs to happen and when.

It helps to have your loved one's personal details, a recent photograph and any notes on religious or cultural requirements. If you have prepaid plan documents, bring those too. You're always welcome to bring someone along for support.
